Which PC Game lets you use swords and guns effectively?

I know there's Darksiders 2 and Defiance.
I haven't played Elex, but I hear they use medievel weapons, guns and magic.

Any other game? Preferably one that doesn't suck?

There was this. But normally the guys with the good range weapons have crappy melee weapons.

You get a sword in Borderlands 2? I only played up to meeting the skinny guy with the robotic limbs, so far I only got a machine gun and pistol...and I think a shot gun.
