siberia 200 virtual surround sound vs the razer surround sound software
I'm looking to buy a new pair of headphones(my first decent pair) and I was looking at the siberia 200 because they were comfortable, but I had some issues with the sound and such. I've send it back and I'm now waiting for a new pair(the other ones were already send back(in that webshop you can send your stuff back without reason and get your money back within 14 days of delivery)) and so I thought it were theses specific headphones. I haven't got them back but I started thinking and seeing a ton of people saying that you should stay away from gaming brands and just buy a set of regular headphones/headsets and then for surround sound get some software on your computer because it is also software in the siberia 200 that makes them 7.1 surround and that you also can do it on your computer.

So I started thinking and I came across the razer surround sound software. Now my question is: is the free razer surround sound software equally as good as the software in a siberia 200 for virtual 7.1? And also do I then have to buy the pro version or is the normal version sufficient or is there any other free(or cheap) software that does the trick as good with nongaming 2.1(I thought the siberia 200s were 2.1) headsets? I'm also looking for like a pure sound headphone that is purely focused on sound like the AKG K-240 MKII(but it's a bit to the expensive side at 90 euros with a discound for me but if they are truly superior in sound quality and can also be 7.1 virtual surround sound and such I'm willing to pay a bit more, they're currently at the shop that I'm looking at sale for 90 euros)
