Samsung Monitor - Game Mode
Hi all,

I was wondering if you could help me. I have just purchased a 24 inch Samsung curved monitor. I have noticed a setting called Game Mode which seems to brighten the whole screen. i

should i have this enabled or leave it on the default settings?

any help would be appreciated as i cant decide which is best

Usually all those preset "Gaming" modes just screw up your contrast and make colours look un-natural, i would just mess around with the color temperature/contrast/brightness settings manually until the image looks clean.

If you go to Control Panel -> Personalization -> Display -> Screen Resolution and click on

"Advanced Settings", then go to Color Management -> Advanced -> Display Calibration and you should have an option to Calibrate the display.

If you click on that Windows will open a new window, which you can move around on the screen. Place the window onto the monitor you want to calibrate and then just click "Next" and follow the steps. I Used this to calibrate my 2nd and 3rd monitor to match my primary, both were a bit too bright and the white tone on the 2nd monitor was too warm and a bit yellowish compared to my primary Asus monitor. Hope this helps

Many thanks. Game mode does make detail look weird due to the brightness. I will try what you have suggested. Many thanks
