Input delay for shooters
My issue only occurs in shooters, payday 2, battlefield 3, borderlands 2, etc. Thers a brief delay on commands. If I aim my gun theres a 1-2 second delay before the game raises my gun, same thing if I move, shoot, move camera, or anything like that. The game it self doesn't lag though just the input is delayed. How can I fix this?

either a slow cpu or your using widi or a tv that adds delay to the video signal

os?
win7 I presume.
go to desktop settings, disable stuuupid aero, start basic theme, disable theme cursor controll, set mouse in windows to +4 max halfway
.....basicaly disable all ''great MSoft'' additions to win7 (so you hate it and buy xbox) and.....yeah if using high dpi(according to manufacturrer) mouse ,try to find you an comfort settings around 1000-1200 dpi (even less if need) disable acceleration.....should work

Those things do not cause input/video delay unless you're on a low end system that isn't great for gaming, anyway. Besides, aero mode is temporarily disabled once a fullscreen game is running.
You're not being too helpful.

disable Steam In-Game Overlay

I think we might need more information about your specific setup to figure out what's causing the input delay.

My guess would be that you're using a TV as your display and that were the latency is coming from but it could be any number of things.

tNope, I'm not using a TV just my laptop. Its running windows 8.1 it's got 4 gigs of ram. All the other games I play are fine and have no input delay. I can play Dota 2, LOL, Surgeon simulator, and tower wars with no in put delay. What else do you need to know?

Do you have vsync on?

It's turned off. Graphics are on lowest settings possible.

don't know about the others but in BF use RAW mouse input ingame setting.

(& disable ANY in-game overlays - Origin, Steam, TS, Xfire, etc.)
