I am fairly new to this. I don't think I can do something such as over clocking without over-overclocking.
Would you suggest a different mother board instead?
with the r7 260x/370 card will beat the a8 gpu there too
gtx750/ti are simlar to r7 260/360
for $30 over you can get a b85 board, offers 4 dimm slots, and usb 3.0 header and pci-e x16 3.0 slot
2tb hdd, and 8g of ram, 212evo
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/qM7kQ7
will easily overclock to 4-4.5ghz
This would be easy to upgrade later with i5-4460, 4590, 4690 or i7-4790. Or to add CM Hyper 212 EVO cooler and overclock that Pentium. Also second RAM stick and better graphics card like GTX 960 or 970.
now for the graphics card, among the ASUS GTC 750 on my list, there are two that confuses me a bit.GTX 750 DDR5 PH OC and the GTX 750TI DDR3 OC. What's the difference? they're only 2 dollars apart. I figured I can choose either, I just want to know which is best. Or should I go with the gigabyte radeon r7260 2gb?

they have a g3258+z97 combo for around $100+tax
the phoc is hte single slot with smaller cooler
get the other one, larger cooler and 2x dvi and vga/hdmi
If you're going to be using the APU get DDR3 2133; the price difference seems small. If there's a frys near you, pick up an MSI grenade board. A 7600 is good for small form factor builds; they run quite efficiently considering it's working as lower end video card and CPU. But if heat or energy efficiency is little concern an unlocked version like the 7670k would be better.
The intel build has a very good upgrade path and single and dual threaded performance. It's also a good chip to experiment overclocking with. The AMD build is better generally for higher workloads/threads or for games that are geared towards quad cores or higher.
I'm already leaning towards intel but the expensive graphicscard is holding me back xD should I buy the sapphire r7 250 instead?
750/ti and r7 260x/360 are very close
get whatever your budget can afford
with the intel buld, you can save up for an i5 4460-4690
and with a quality 550w psu, you can run any single gpu
is there a big difference with the r7-240&250 to those 260 and up?
R7 260x is very good for you buget. It much faster than 240/250 and slightly faster than GTX 750 Ti.

the onboard intle hd is almost as good as the r7 250 or gt x40
