Add free game to library without downloading, using proton to launch free windows games
Normally to add a game to the libray purchase is reauired, for free games they need to be "downloaded" but if the game is not supported on the OS "download" becomes impossible.

I ask for a way to add a steam game to the library without download when the purchase is free.

I recommend you try suggestions for the client to be on the Suggestions board as Steam staff do read there but not here
