You have to make sure that its fully inserted and has no room to wiggle. And then you hope nothing bad happens. But it can still melt no matter what you do.
ATM I have the stock cable attached and I can’t get the 35mm clearance but I’ve checked several times it’s 100% pushed right up against the connection port and won’t go anywhere. Is this safe despite having no 35mm clearance and being at a horizontal angel
the pins on the mobos power socket has bigger trace pads to disperse heat better
its the cable connectors that melt first
