Question for very old HP TouchSmart IQ504
My dad updated his Windows 7 to Windows 10, and his computer being so old, really cant handle Windows 10, infact, what happened was hes stuck with no drivers and his resolution is all stretched out. I have done all I know, even tried official HP drivers, but all they had was for Windows 7 and Vista. I cant find any Windows 10 drivers that support this old computer, and any suggestions would be so appreciated.

Thanks

that system is not nearly as out dated as you make it, and will handle windows 10 easily.

Its far from high end, and it *is* old, but core 2 tech is still fine for windows 10 use, as is the upper end Intel GMA, and the Nvidia 9xxx line, all of which are options on this system.

For the graphics drivers, go with the latest from Intel or Nvidia, depending on if you have the 9300m, 600m or Intel GMA 3100graphics.

I service a first gen coree 2 duo machine at work with windows 10 on it, and own a pre-core 2 series Core Duo L-2500 thinkpad with windows 10 32bit on it (CPU is 32 bit only dua core). Both systems use integrated Intel GMA, with the thinkpad using a very old mobile version comparable to pentium 4 era GMA, and it still runs the windows desktop enviroment fine.

Is there a way to find out which graphics hardware it has? Thanks for your response by the way. Glad to see there is hope for his computer.
