If one of these RED pins is missing, that is normal for DVI-D since those are Digital-Only

Seriously though, return the Monitor and buy one with DisplayPort 1.2
And use DP 1.2 male to male cable.
HDMI or VGA will only net you 60Hz

I am 100% sure now that the GFX card is the problem and probably just because of this little problem. I'll try and have them swap the monitor too:)

Notice the same PCIE pin in this picture.
One thing that WAS broken was the locking mechanism to keep the GFX card in place.. so something has happend during transportation.
I'll post in here what the problem was/is when they get back with me it may help someone else later who finds this thread from google:)
diodes that are faster than the 60 hz diodes exist, lets build a new monitor. 144hz is for 3d gaming. not to win in cs:go.
