laptops tend to be hot, so that might be the case
If you have recieved the update to Windows 10 1803 remove the GPU drivers with DDU app while in safe mode and reinstall them. It's common for major Windows updates to mess up the drivers.
You can't put laptops components in a desktop case.
ah, yeah, I don't think its entirely a thermal problem, but I do have overheating issues, I run almost everything at 86c, and some of the fps drops do start to become much more common once it hits 86c. it rarely goes past 86c, it tends to just stay at 86c, from time to time it goes up to 90-95c,
and yes I believe I might have received the Windows 10 1803 update.
those temps are ok, nothing to worry about
i would reccomend to keep using that cooling stand, give it more room to breathe
or if your laptop is dUstY clean that out, that will raise your temps a lot
you cant put laptop parts in a desktop case by standards, but you can if you do some heavy modding to a desktop case, fitted standoffs all that stuff, not reccomended at all but it has been done
did you update your drivers, do you have v-sync or have limited frames on
ignore what that other guy says, he clearly doesnt know what he is flaming about
