New mouse problem
I just goot a new mouse (Genesis gx44) and i have a really annoying problem. When i move it fast, ingame or not, the mouse freaks out and it doesn't move smoothly. It stop and then moves again, something like lag. This happens when i use it on mousepad but if i dont use one at all and i just put it on the table it won't respond almost at all. Does anyone know why this is happening and what i can do to fix it? I dont want to buy a new mouse again. This is like the 8th mouse i get because everyone i get either is broken from the beggining or it brokes really easily. (i do care about my stuff and i am really gentle when i use them so it's not me)

There are types of surfaces, certain colors and patterns, on which the optical mouse does not work correctly
Buy an laser Logithech mouse or other similar level or find other surface an pattern

And so too cheap mouse is not suitable for fast gaming - even if the sensor has the necessary sensitivity, slower processor in the mouse does not have time to process the data array.

Mouse it's a small scanner with an input field - there are ways to turn a mouse into a conventional scanner or a fingerprint

A mouse with their own software and built-in functions require additional settings in the game, double acceleration, in-game and in the mouse produces the opposite result

Wires specially made so: the basis - copper wire in the insulation of polyurethane varnish, which is wound around the fiberglass, and on top of it all - plastic insulation that hardens and breaks from direct exposure to UV light, and contact with the human body

[still used Logitech MX518 - just twice cut out broken cable]

I don't have money to buy expensive mice. I had optical mice before and i used them on the same mousepad but i never had a problem. Is there any way to fix that? Could it be that the mouse is just problematic or something?

test settings in game, in mouse software (or re-install) test cable, test background processes, power management settings for usb, test different surfaces

That should be a fairly decent mouse from it's specs and even it's price is not cheap. I've been using a cheap ($20) Cyber Snipa Intelliscope laser Mouse for about 7 years now and I'm happy with it.

Yea try on different surfaces, maybe even try on a piece of paper and see if it works better.
One other thing you can do is unplug the mouse look and make sure nothing is blocking the opticals view or if it is one with a clear window make sure there is nothing like oil from your fingers on it. That can mess it up.
Did you try changing the DPI level, seems that mouse has 4 levels.
Also where you plugging it in, if in the front side panel of your computer case try one on the back. The front side case USB ports can be slow.

If you just bought it and it seems the surface you're using it on makes a difference, I would contact the company to ask about it. It seems they also make mouse pads, so maybe they can recommend the proper surface or settings.

Thank you for you answer. I did try other surfaces and it's even worse at them. The mouse is also plugged into a usb 3 port in the back of the pc. + nothing is blocking the connection and i tried different ports. I am pretty sure it's the mouse that has the problem. I looked up many reviews about this mouse and no one had this problem.

Now that you mentioned it i have another problem that i already contacted them about. When i plugged my mouse in the next thing i did was to look for the software which i can program buttons, change the hz of the sencor, change the dpi settings etc. But i couldn't find it anywhere. I went through the whole site without finding something about the software. I really think that if i find the software i can fix my problem since one of my older mice had an option that if you had put wrong the mouse wouldn't move properly

"nothing is blocking the connection and i tried different ports"
I meant on the bottom of the mouse where the optical reader is if something is on the little clear window some mice use or if something is up in the hole where the sensor is.

Here is the link to the software for the mouse. It does not specifically say for windows 10 but will probably work for that as well if you have it.
http://download.impakt.com.pl/genesis-zone/drivers/GX44.zip
You'll need to unzip the download of course and then run/install the software.

I found it myself just a while ago and nothing helped. And the thing you told me to check was the first thing i did. I will call the store i bought it from and i will return it. I already put it back in its box. Thanks for your interest

I got my new mouse and i had to go through some really dumb conversations through the phone. I called them twice and the last time they said the mouse wasn't for those kinda things..even though they sell it as a really good gaming mouse. I was so pissed i wanted to hit the wall with those kida bs i was hearing. Anyway they gave me back 13 euros and i bought the steelseries rival 100. It's really good.

Thanks for letting us know, now people seeing this thread know to avoid their whole brand of products since they do not stand behind or even be truthful about their products.
