Allow players to filter out games made with Gen AI

Next Fest February is coming up and I don't have any interest in playing demos from games that use Generative AI in their development. It would be good if an option was added to filter these games in the same way players can already filter Adult/NSFW content.

This would be great! i love demos and finding new games but its a slog to weed out games that dont care enough about their game to not rely on generative ai

Agreed. All the AIs out there are trained on stolen labour. I'd rather not financially support anyone who's happy to use them to produce games, and every demo download translates into financial support via Steam's own algorithms. That's why Next Fest is so popular with creators.

Loads of people on Steam don't interact with the forums - it doesn't make them any less of a user of the platform? You're welcome to put forward your reasons why the suggestion isn't a good one.

Maybe we've just got a strong opinion on AI that's worth talking about. I don't use the forums much because I talk to people elsewhere, I don't know what to tell you.
