Getting more Cloud Storage?

I was wondering if you ever ran out of Steam Cloud storage. How can you get more?

If they haven't got an option to buy more cloud storage space. Steam should release the ability to do so.

They should add more storage each level you level up.

Well I have levelled my Steam profile up several times not long ago but I've not seen any increase to my cloud storage capacity.

Thats's right, I've sad that they could add more storage each level you level up....

Afaik each user gets 2 GB cloud space for their account. If you upload a lot of screenshots
like I do this restriction could get problematic for you. But I'm strictly against a subscription
plan for additional storage space as steam is earning enough already imho.
But it would be a nice gesture for customer relations to add some storage for free. Lets say 500 MB for each 10 levels. Compared to free storage space offered by some cloud storage providers even that is tiny.

Seeing as Steam is a free service with over 125 million users, 2GB of storage per a user is a good amount. Steam Cloud per a user also increases when games that support Steam Cloud saves are added to an account.

To add more space based on level wouldn't be fair to many users...and 500MB would be way too much. I could se 10MB or 50MB at the most, but not 500MB.

So does the Steam Cloud storage space only decrease from screenshots, and not from games that use Steam Cloud?

Correct. Games get a specific amount of storage, per a game.

The 2GB is for screenshots/artwork.

If that was true, the workshop for almost every game would be very barren. Because many items take up space. Like HD textures or high quality models.

I use almost nothing. I would happily sell ~1500MB on the Steam market if Valve implemented a way to do that.

They won't of course, because the 2GB for every user, and the underlying hardware reserved for it, is already accounting for the fact that I and many others won't be using it.
