(Steam Client - Downloads) Bulk Download Time Save
Hello all,

I have extended periods where I'm not using my PC and I like to have a lot of my games installed at all times. Coming back to 25-30 pending updates that Steam auto schedules for a time when my PC is off is less than ideal.
I prefer to just queue all of them to download before I start to play that way I don't have to worry,
This takes way longer than it should due to not being able to add multiple games to the download queue with ease. I usually just drag them one at a time or spam click the download button but the UI shifts so the button doesn't line up every time. There's also a big delay on each game as it always puts it on the top of the stack and starts pausing the last update and downloading immediately.

My suggestion is some kind of comprehensive option to shift-click select all the games I want to queue at the same time and be able to just click download or even drag them all now that the queue supports it. Even a button for download all where it queues every update that is available or already scheduled for later would be extremely helpful.

TL:DR Please add a button to add all available/scheduled downloads to the queue or a shift-click system.

Valve took the Download/Update All button away when covid happened to save bandwidth and I don't think it is ever returning.

Set them all to high priority, individually, in their properties menu.

Steam will auto-schedule games based on how often, how recently and how much youplay a game. A game you play extremely often will be at teh top of the queue. Those games in your library you have for 'show' will get updated in 2 weeks.

Thank you for explaining the system to me, however throwing snide remarks about how I manage my data is entirely unwarranted on a simple feature request.

Wow, I actually completely missed this feature even existing. Thank you for the information and I will follow your advice.
