Better privacy settings

The privacy settings on steam feel really clunky. For one there aren't many options, only 4 or 5 checkboxes on profile privacy settings. There's also the fact that if you've put your game details on private, people can still see the games you play on the game's store page itself.

It would also be nice to choose things like which badges are visible or even to remove those that are no longer to your taste. I have badges that I made years ago that I regret quite a bit now, I will not lie. I don't mind losing levels or a few cents that I may have lost making them, I would just prefer to hide them or not to have them at all.

Steam is an amazing platform for games but it could use a bit of work in things like account management and privacy. I just don't like having to keep my entire profile private just because of these 2 or 3 things.

I hope people can relate to this discussion, and that steam might endeavour to fix it.

First thing is suggested on a decent basis, sure why not. It's not really "broken" though.
