Would be nice if we could clean out non tradeables from our inventory! A delete option would be very nice! I didn't realize the emotes from the events and from point exchanges are permanent and I would like to reduce/reorganize them better!

Sadly yes

Taken a while before Valve changed it, and my guess is some users are just following some guides on how to level up that are not up to date, so they see "post in the forums" from there and not search
Most of them however do seem to have the "search the forum" so not sure if they got it, or its by chance

As well as some normally the regulars on the forums asking to put something to stop it, I mean some are not bad, but some necro old treads and make discussions a mess as the @OP thinks its a real comment like I think I once saw spam of "yes" on a topic that was something saying an "admin contacted them" that is a scam going around, and asking if it's legit, that is pretty problematic
Sadly I don't think it's likely to go away any time soon

Perhaps adding gem value of 0 or 1 to the objects might work instead?

If you trying to bump by deleting and reposting, I should note that mods can see deleted posts and will know you have done so
Its likely Valve saw this already by now from you or someone else

Valve works in Valve Time, so its never known when you may see an update of this type even if there working on it
