Take out a loan for games.
Well, i had seen the price for the new RAGE 2 and was very disappointed because of the price for deluxe edition. 2489₴ we need to pay for game in Ukraine inspite of average salary in my country is 6000₴ - 7500₴. I understand that prices for games will rise every year, so maybe steam should add some kind of loan for games, because citizens of many countries cant pay full price.
What are you thinking, community?
UPD. I mean like you pay some part of price per month.

Here? There won't be anything of value. Not to mention the possible abuse of it.

if you want a loan, talk to your local bank.

you should think about how loans work. you want money, bank needs something from you that is worth the amount they are lending you. your steam account has a value of ZERO, so how are you going to put up anything to support the loan?

Games are luxury goods. You want them, make sure you have the money. Or wait till they're in sale or cheapish on keysites like Fanatical or Humble Bundle.

Want a loan, go talk to your bank.

Want games to be a cheaper price, go talk to the developer/publisher of the game in the games discussion area.

Don't buy the super duper special deluxe edition? Wait for a sale?

Can't afford it? Don't buy it and wait for a sale. Simple as that.
Also, as has been stated quite a few times. Steam is not a bank. They'd need to partner with some third party payment processor and you'd have to pay their fees on top of paying the game.
Paying in increments can get rather expensive.

That is called "Use a credit card".

Another thing you could do is start putting 10 bucks a month into your steam account, let it build up. Or buy Steam cards once a month and hold onto them for few months and then put them into your steam account.

Valve is not your bank and it should never be such.

if you cannot afford pc gaming as a hobby, you should consider finding a cheaper hobby or just wait for sales.

You have 274 games, I think you're ok. If anything you need to play the ones you have and stop buying more if finance is a problem?
