Hide friends list
Does anyone else wish there was a way to hide your friends list while keeping the rest of your profile open? I don't like the idea of people being able to see my family members on steam..

hide friends list from your friends? that sounds odd. and how would others know they are your family?

1. Not just from my friends, from random strangers as well (If I make my profile public).

2. I have a very limited amount of friends on steam because I only add irl people, and if you go onto their profiles you can tell they are irl friends becuase they have the same location as me or a similar name.

Yes, that would be nice to be able to have a public profile without exposing the friendslist.

Has been requested a ton of times before, so I'm not so sure we ever get that feature.

They don't do this because it's a false sense of privacy. If you hid your friends list, then all your friends would have to hide theirs and so on. Because it's possible to create your friends list based on other people's profile.

1. Again... not really seeing how this affects anything
2. ANd at best the location will say you live in the same city and this can easily be averted by not actually putting your location and city in your profile. That's optional.
