Connecting games to steam

I can't seem to connect Darksiders II and The Last Remnant to steam. Both of these games Steam games, so how come?

What do you mean by "connect to Steam"?

Sorry. I meant that my game was not accepted to be activated on steam.

owhh, and when did you buy it ? From steam or some other site ? You may have bought a non steam version

Quite a while ago. It's been almost a year I think. It was from another site. If so, then that might be it. I don't really care actually, I was just curious. Thanks. :)

If it comes with a Steam key and tells you to activate it on Steam, then it's a Steam game. If not, then it's not a Steam game. There is usually an indication on the package and the installation instructions that mentions Steam or Steamworks.

If a Steam key doesn't work on Steam then you've been screwed. Or you've activated it on another account.
