my computer has an AMD A8-3800 APU with Radeon hd graphics 2.40 Ghz. 64 bit operating system. and i also have 8.00 Gb of ram

You can play battlefield 3 but I doubt you would enjoy it. You would have less than 30 fps, You can play older games and games with low system requirements. Sorry but your question is not a yes or no. It is actually a yes but most people would not want to.

I already have researched this CPU a lot. Buy the game if you want. I gave you my opinion that it will run but not well enough to be fun. You will have to turn setting down to low and still bad performance. It will run Battlefield Bad Company 2 a lot better.

You should be able to run COD4 pretty well. I think that would be a very good choice in games for your hardware. Your hardware is above those specs.

The guy you linked to probably had a lower resolution. Your specs probably can't run 1080P [1920x1080] but it can probably run a decent amount of frames at 720p [1280x720] Which may get a average framerate of 30-40 FPS

Yes. CoD 4 would run fine on your PC as I just finished telling you.

Do you understand plain english? Your specs are better than those specs. They are listing very old video cards. I am finished here. I have to repeat myself over and over.
