The constant updates are getting old...
Honestly...if you need to update EVERY day...there's an issue.

I've updated EVERY DAY for the past two weeks...now Steam is currently updating on an endless loop...thanks for that!

Disable your firewall before it updates/run Steam as admin.

Hey Tyler, they do do something - cause loop issues, cause sound issues, cause graphic issues, cause CTD's and I'm sure I've missed a few. If they are indeed doing (accomplishing) something positive, I've yet to see a post that says - "Hey, thanks for the update. My game is running cleaner - the website is functioning better and such.

Yes, I have some posts ready to post when that happens. Yes I actually do.

But - I doubt that day will come anytime soon. I actualy cringe each tme I see Steam wants to update and I make sure my games are saved and I have several days worth, just incase.

Stop subscribing to the beta update if you don't like updates.

I'm not a beta tester - Steam gives me enough headaches w/their supposed "Working" model ....

They announced that there was problems with the latest patch due to anti-virus software. They are working on correcting that. For now, you have to disable the real-time scanning until the update completes.
