Free weekend rotation

I see a bunch of topics to rent games which are great ideas. I think being able to try a game for say an hour or two would be great too. I don't think those things will ever be implemented. Since some games could be beat in say 8 hours and depending on how the user plays he may never choose to buy the game since 1 he beat it and thats all he cared about and 2 hes to busy renting other games.

So why not make free weekend for games actually have set schedule and a way for the users to vote on whats next? Instead of it just being random. The last 4 free weekends I only wanted to play 1 of the games and I then thats not counting into the factors that I may already own the game.
