i'm having the exact same problem, i think its very concerning that it takes so long time for Steam to answer...
It depends on a lot of factors. How many tickets they have to respond to, did you provide all the information they needed, was it filed under the correct category, etc. I have heard from a few hours to a few weeks, depending on circumstances. Also, you may wish to check your spam folder to confirm their response did not end up there.

And sometimes if you use Hotmail, Yahoo, or AOL, Steam Support emails are blocked all together (don't appear in spam or trash). Haven't figured that one out at all. At least half a dozen users per week report issues with those three email providers.

Good news is Gmail appears to work and is free.

3 days to 2 weeks on average.

I don't think you are using the term "average" correctly there ;)

Yes i did provide all the info i sent a picture showing all my things being traded to one guy who does not now have them. i guess my biggest worry right now is, will i get my things back? i can wait for a month i just would like to know for sure my stuff will be back.
Provided Steam has enough evidence, yes, they should return your belongings.
