Transferring steam games?
so my question is are you able to transfer a game on steam that i have downloaded to another friends library

For example if i download GTA 5 on my internet and put it on a portable hard drive can i give it to a friend in person and then he ads it to his library will it come up as if he has downloaded it himself. he has purchased his own copy of the game he just doesn't have enough bandwidth and speed to download it himself. its 59 gbs this is Australia so it would take a eternity to download

If you copy the core game files; and the appmanifest_271590.acf; I'd assume you can.

Despite the fact that your .acf has the LastOwner marked as your community ID.
76561198022182814

The core game files are in SteamApps\common\; whereas the Appmanifest is in SteamApps\

backup game and restore x.x it gona take some time if 65gigs u can try the method up by teutep easy one is backup i guess
