Borderlands 2 transfer saved files
I started using Mac Book Pro instead of pc for a reason and it's hard to tell. The problem is I played a few hours of borderlands 2 on my pc and I just found out last night that you need to copy the files and paste it somewhere because the game doesn't share the record between consoles.

I've found a few solutions but none of them worked for me. All of them says the final step is go to WillowGame and there's a folder called save data or something and copy/paste it. http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2951033

What I found weird with my document is this order: Borderlands 2/Binaries, DLC, Documents, Engine, Gearbox, WillowGame, installscript.vdf, and inside the Documents is Documents/B2_Readme_EN.txt, COPYING.txt, Revised eula 3-31-10 - ENGLISH.rtf.

I went to WillowGame and there are 5 folders: Config, CookedPCConsole, Localization, Movies, Splash. There are no such things like SaveData.

Can anyone help me, please. I'm seldom using pc in the future, and if possible, can you tell me how to transfer save files of BD2 from pc to mac book pro, thank you so much xd.

if it is not on that path you posted yourself it is not there.

can you use any saves on the PC ingame?

I don't think it has cross platform saved. The game uses steam cloud save functionality so if the save is compatible it should of automatically be restpred to the mac once you hae installed BL2

I do not see anybody mention to copy from the cloud folders.
maybe just some creativity is needed.

Yes, I did install BD2 on my mac. But once I launched the game and there's no record for my assassin.

to who is that an answer too?
"yes I did install BD2 on my mac"

edit: I see never mind.

I ask mine again , do you get your progress when you start the game on the PC?

What do you mean by getting my progress on PC, though. I started playing BD2 on my PC and I downloaded the game on mac later on as well. I got my character to level 16 by playing on PC and changed to mac and yet found out the game doesn't share the data between two computers (if yes, not for me). So, let me clarify my issue: I'm not able to keep on playing on my mac when I began to play on my PC initially. Any solution?

edit:you may just have answered yes to that not sure yet

aint no use in searching for something that is not there.

than they must be in the steam\userdata folder somewere.
I always get a bit lazy having to explain those folders :P

edit:
I told you steam\userdata

were ever you installed steam enter the steam folder than the userdata folder.
windows skill not steam skills.

or use the search feature in explorer , handy to find your files maybe too there.

Ok I found it... Took a long time. Under save data, there are three folders. The most recent one named "76561198182802811". Inside it are three things: profile.bin, Save0001.sav, Save0001.sav.bak. Do I copy the whole folder to the direct location on my mac or only 3 files?
