ACE-BASE ERROR
So my Rust started saying "Please close ACE-BASE before launching game" or something. Even after a fresh restart of my PC.

But Dead by Daylight that also uses EAC was totally fine.

I followed all the step by steps I could find, CMD (said it didn't exist), Verified game files through steam, Uninstalled all instances of EAC I could fine, even the ones for Epic Games launcher.

After that Dead by Daylight started having the same issue as Rust. Even with a fresh install of Dead by Daylight, it would just switch between "ACE-BASE not installed" and "Please close ACE-BASE before launching".

Does anyone have any idea why it's giving me this error?

Does this issue go away when do restart on your PC?
Start menu > power option > restart.

If yes then means something must had been left running in background that didn't close correctly, but if no there might be corrupted file that need resolve, and redownload said files, or unless you have 3rd party anti virus that decided to go rouge starting to do false positive quarantine files.
