Is there a way to contact steam tech support ?
Hello guys,

I have an issue with another account of mine that I can't acess because steam is asking for the verification code thing. I opened my email and nothing was there. I waited for over an hour and nothing came. Retryed several times, and I still didn't receive anything. So, is there a way to contact steam tech support ? I looked for their mail adress all the way but I can't find anything.

Thanks.

How do you know that the issue is not with your email instead ?

Some providers do not get emails from Steam well. And also, you need to check to make sure Steam is whitelisted in your email settings and not being blocked as spam.

It also has to be asked if you are sure you also checked the spam folder in your email.

Who is your email provider ?

I've changed email adress twice, with different providers, so it's not the email. Besides, When I did this, I got the email from steam confirming me the email change.

That does not really specifically answer my questions, but fair enough. And the spam folder ?

If you got one email, it stands to reason that you would get another one. So did you check the spam folder ?

EDIT..............

https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=4020-ALZM-5519#email

"I'm not receiving a Steam Guard email…"

Make sure that you are watching the inbox for the email address associated with your Steam account. Perhaps you used a different email address?

If you are not receiving the e-mail at all, check your spam filters and spam inbox.

Please try adding "support@steampowered.com" and "noreply@steampowered.com" to your contacts or trusted senders list within your email client and request a new access code.

Even though Steam instantly sends an email, you may encounter a delay with some email providers depending on their server load and processing times. Please contact us if you have not received the verification email after 3 hours. <-----------------------------------

You are sure it was set to email codes?

Dude, I'm not a noob when it comes to computing. I know to check my spam folder when I don't receive an email.

The adresses you're mentionning are probably whitelisted for the simple reason that I already receive emails from steam in the past without any problem.

Delay, you're saying ? I've been waiting one day, now...

Seriously, I would'nt ask for the customer service if I wasn't sure I already did all the steps you're mentionning.

How are we supposed to know what you know and what you have done ? Sorry, but when trying to find the solution to a problem, even the simplest things have to be covered and asked. If that bothers you, then include everything you have checked and done in the opening post of the thread. You can do that using the edit feature also.

Ok, well then you were provided the way to contact them, so feel free to do so and let us know what you find out. If you have other questions about how to contact them, then feel free to ask them.

Is it a Gmail address? There occassionally seem to be issues with gmail addresses where the mails somehow don't go through.

You can contact Steam support by creating a ticket through the link that Brian gave in post #4. Or you can recover the account.
