Nvidia 3D Vision issue: "Current mode 1920x1080@60 is not hdmi 3d compatible"
Hello Guys,
I have been trying to play Stereoscopic games from my gaming laptop through the Benq 1080ST 3D projector. I can play movies in 3D but when I try to play 3D games I get this red texted error message on my 3D projector screen.

"Current mode 1920x1080@60 is not hdmi 3d compatible, please try 1280x720@60hz or 1920x1080@24hz"

In my Nvidia settings I do have them swtiched to either 1280x720@60hz or 1920x1080@24hz before starting the game but still I get this error. I have been trying to play Tomb Raider(2013), Crysis 3, etc games but in vain.

My Laptop specs:
Intel Core i7 Processor 2GHz
12GB SO-DIMM RAM
1.5TB 7200RPM Hard Drive
17.3-Inch Screen, Nvidia GTX 560M
Windows 7 Home Premium

Any help would be highly appreciated, thanks.

Saw your message while googeling this very question :p If you havent found out yet, It seems the problem lies with the HDMI. it just cannot send enugh data for a full 1920x1080p in 3D.

Sounds like it might be posible with DVI tho, but it requires more reaserch.

This is all i seem to find, hope it helps.
''1080p and 3D at 60fps don't work over HDMI as the bandwidth isn't large enough. Only DVI-D or Displayport will work.''

For everyone who had the same Problems: You can right-click your desktop and change the resolution. on windows 7 you can click on "advanced settings" -> "list all mods" and then choose for example 1920 x 1080 ,24hz to fix the problem :)
