Steam guest pass.

I crafted my second set of steam summer sale cards, and i got a guest pass.. but the picture not loaded in and after that i disconnected. Now i cant find my guest pass in my inventory.. is it gone 4ever or what? (i get every other item in my inventory) background,emoticon etc..
I just would like to now what kind of gust pass was it.

I just get random messages, for example today AS SOON as the deals switched (1pm my time) I got the inventory messages, but no inventroy plus-es... lol.. nothing new in the inventory, but the messages popped up in the notification bar, my mailbox and in the inventory panel. The guest passes happen whenever i craft a badge (not every badge though, but this is the only time i get the "gifta pass" messages)

lol yea that has been happening, yesterday steam sent out 3 trade requests for the same items at the same time, i freaked out (since that is trade-bannable) and deleted them ASAP...

Whenever you receive items for a game like Spiral Knights or Path of Exile upon badge crafting, the guest pass is a way to link an item to a game in your library.

If you already own the game, nothing happens.

Yea thats what I thought at first, but after the games were already in my library, I still got the messages... perhaps that was the intended mechanic but it bugged out with non f2p games like BBT

doh that's a bit weird I only got the gift/pass after doing a summer badge, already did some game badges but no msg. But I'm not doing many badges too.

still though, it doesnt change the mysterious "you have new items in your inventory messages" I got...

truth be told I was excited by them since green just won, I thought maybe the mysterious disappearing inventory was me being chosen as one of the dirty thirty :D

You still get the message, but nothing happens.
If someone doesn't have the game, game is added to library.
