Can't log into STEAM via browser.
I'm trying to log into STEAM via my internet browser, for some reason I got logged out. However everytime I enter my userID and password it won't accept it (however I know it's correct as I've logged out of the STEAM platform on my PC and logged back in with the same details with no problems) , it will then ask me to enter random characters to confirm my humanity and will either tell me I failed to verify or my logon details are wrong.

Can anyone help?

I'm having the same issue. I need to login to Steam via internet browser in order to activate some games from Humble Bundle. I wish they still gave activation codes.

Ok so I tried using diffrent computer/browsers, I'd been using my laptop/chrome, and managed to log in with no problems. Still can't seem to log in via Chrome though, which is what I'd really like to be able to do, just thought this would help Arketyp7.

If you can't login via FF - use IE or change password: Steam password not support some High ANSI symbols (via Web)

LOL Well I'd been using Chrome and used Firefox to log in...so...

All I can say is try another browser...any. Once you've linked you humble bundle (or Indiegala account in my case) you can go back to using your main browser and activate all the games via that.

Thanks for the help folks, I'm finally logged on. I had to logout of the Steam application on my computer in order to 'click the Retrieve a lost account... button'. I then followed the instructions to reset my password. Like I said I was logged on to my Steam account via my computer app. before so I didn't see that button LOL

Thank you VERY much Arketyp7! I spent all day installing and uninstalling browsers, deleting caches, etc. This is the only solution that worked! :D Thanks A LOT!
