Using tv as a monitor
Hi i am currently looking out to replace my current tv ( sony 40 mx750 inch 1080p which i am using as a montior), and this one fits my budget. LG49UF670T.

Its a 4k tv, currently i am gaming on 1080p. Will switch to 4k gaming later when i have Gpu which supports 4k.

Should i go for this one?

I cant use monitors because the room is setup in such a way.

Current specs
gtx 670 zotac stock.
i5-2400
8 gb ram

Just put it in game mode and you'll be fine.

I think he meant an i5 6600k.

You will need a GTX 900 series or higher to make full use of the panel.

4K at 60hz requires HDMI 2.0 which is currently only in the GTX 900 series.

Actually i think i framed my question incorrectly i guess. Atm i would want to continue with 1080p gaming on the 4k tv with my setup, when i find there is a stable gpu(4k at ultra, some games require sli. I want dont want that hassle) i will use 4k gaming.

In terms of quality is this tv good?

Yeah the LG49UF670T is an awesome TV for the price.

Just make sure to use it in Gaming Mode or you might experience input lag.

Yeah, a GeForce GTX 770 or better runs 1080p fine.
