Why Is The Store So Laggy?
Why is the Store so laggy? I'm trying to buy a game and I click on the link telling the Store I'm buying it for myself and I have to wait about a minute for the next screen and when it comes it's blank. I rebooted Steam and I still have the same lag, I rebooted my PC and I still have the same lag. Is anyone else having this problem? Other parts of Steam is fine. Onlhy the Store is broken.

Is it laggy to you too? I logged in just now and it takes clicking twice before it changes to anything.

Same here, trying to buy fallout new vegas, i get stuck in the purchase for myself option, when it finally loads its just stuck in an infinite loading page, i guess we need to wait for a couple of hours untill it gets fixed.

yep same problem. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling but nope, think its definetly a steam problem not me

ffs they need to fix theyre ♥♥♥♥♥♥ servers been trying to buy season pass for BL:TPS half day and soon as i press buy for myself i get black screen every ♥♥♥♥♥♥ single time

Thanks everyone for confirming you are all having the same problem. I didn't know if I was only having it. Two days ago I had to reinstall Steam because every time I tried to launch it it crashed with a fatal error.

Well ♥♥♥♥ now it lets put the billing info but when you click continue this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ message pops up "There seems to have been an error initializing or updating your transaction. Please wait a minute and try again or contact support for assistance."

I don't know why it's fine for me now and you and probably others are still having lag. Maybe a number of servers are under repair and the server I use is repaired. It's like with Xbox Live and PSN, each of them have thousands of servers to hold so many people and my guess is Steam has thousands of servers for each part of their App and they are still repairing all the Store servers. I'm not sure but that is my guess. Hopefully you'll all be able to buy games later today as well.
