[SOLVED] Anyone knows what happened to "Command & Conquer™ The Ultimate Collection" ?

Command & Conquer™ The Ultimate Collection was a bundle of almost all CnC games.
It was available on Steam now when i try to search it the bundle doesn't exist.

Any links i to the bundle i found online now return me to the default Steam Store home page.

The removed that bundle or was it blocked for my region for some reason?
(Can't really check if it's a region thing cause i don't use VPN)

Searching does not show it but you can see the individual titles and they all have EA Play on them. https://store.steampowered.com/franchise/CandC

You can get the Ultimate Collection on the EA Play app with a 75% discount currently.

They replaced it with the remastered collection.

The older version were delisted. This happens alot on steam when the old version is replaced with a newer version. Note that the newer version is not always the best version though.

Hmmm.
All the individual CnC games seem to lack the purchase option they had before.
It seems it's not just the Collection , I cannot buy any of the CnC games on Steam anymore without EA subscription

Thing is the Ultimate Collection was available on Steam some time after the Remastered Collection was released. It's gone for some reason form Steam now as are purchase options for other CnC (at least for my region)

That is interesting. Not sure why they would get delisted, but that is what it sounds like what happen. Could be due to the germany age regulation too. They wanted to remove also anything with nazi stuff in it, and i remember one of the games having nazi stuff in it.

Yea weird. They aren't even delisted either. Just lack the Purchase option now other than the EA monthly subscription option.

EDIT: I'm from Poland btw.
And i don't recall anything remotely Nazi in CnC games. USSR symbolism yea but nothing Nazi related.

Exactly only available via EA Play on Steam.

On the EA Play app it also shows the EA Play logo but you also have the option to buy the Ultimate collection as i never joined EA Play and i have it in my library.

IT is. Steam allows you to use it as a subscription service on steam.

As for the nazi stuff, is there not a scene in the first command and conquer game where you travel back in time and kill hitler? I maybe thinking of RED ALERT though..i have not played them in a long time.

Nope. Not for me.
The reason i wanted the Collection cause i heard it was free of the EA nonsense. Like Origin , their apps or whatnot. (I think only the 4th CnC on the now gone Ultimate Collection required EA account. Rest didn't.)

This and germany is getting very picky about games featuring anything to do with nazi stuff.
