"Unexpected error has occurred, purchase not complete"
First of all, if this proves to be an annoyance to some for posting in the wrong section, I sincerely apologize.

My issue is as stated in the title. When I tried to buy a few games on sale near the tail end of the Steam Winter Sale (12-02-15), I was met with this message blaring its unsavory orange glow on my screen.

Since then, I've taken to contacting my cardholder and there seems to be no issue. I've also tried changing cards and updating personal information. Another suggestion I've tried was an uninstallation and reinstillation of steam, which I tried. Still had no effect. After some time waiting, I still am not able to purchase anything. As a last minute "fix", I went out to my local Walmart and picked up some Steam Wallet Cash, added it to my account with no issue, however, upon purchase I was met with the same message; "Steam has encountered an unexpected error."

I've submitted a ticket, and I'm not going to lie, After 48 hours, two days of no communication I'm far beyond the point of irate because this instance, from what I understand it is telling me that Steam does not want my money or business.

From reading some of the forum posts and comments I've come to a realization that apparently customer service does not function at optimum, if there is a mark for that, capacity.

Please people, if you have a proper solution to this nonsense I am all ears.

P.S, if I make any spelling mistakes and or grammatical errors, I apologize for that too. As I write this, I am unfortunately still fuming.

Unfortunately, I'm far beyond that point, friend. The proxy/vpn disable didn't work. Yes, I've also submitted a ticket too, that was back on the 2nd of January, 2015.
