Can't download any type of game from steam

Can't download any type of game from steam

Lately any large games such as Skyrim or CSGO have had a very difficult time to download and install. Such as when I tried to download the game it would just stop the download and reschedule it for another time. Also when I press the play button on the said game to where it shows how long to download. When I open said window a message pops up 10-25 seconds later saying "An error has occurred while updating [said game] (download corrupt)." I have tried everything from deleting the specific games to changing my download servers to even uninstalling all of my games and anything related to steam. It's not my internet either because it has a very good connection with everything else. Also if it helps I just upgraded to windows ten not 9 days ago.

Has it happened recently? From what I understand I believe it's something wrong on steam's end.

Same thing is happening to me as well. I tried resetting my router. Re installing Steam, deleting the download folder, downloading multiple games and nothing works... Idk if this is a known issue but I have tried tweeting support and emailing and I have gotten nothing.

I've been looking into it and steam hasn't replied to anyone else for some unknown reason.

I mean, I queued up multiple games and smaller ones like tomb raider and 3D Mark downloaded all while large games like Fallout 4 take hours upon hours to download. In fact haven't gotten it to download just got it to 20 out of 25 GB.

I also tried changing regions to download from however, I only tired one other US state.

Oh and also, this is on a fresh install of Windows. All while my origin games downloaded fine and blizzard games too.

It must just be a problem on steam's side
