Best way to get started on Market selling items?
I want to start selling stuff on the steam market, but I don't want to have to spend money. I do have banana, but that is very slow on making any money. I also was considering tf2 or counter strike 2, but you need to spend money in order to get drops from the game. I want a game that I can start out on that is completely free with no fees to get items or make items marketable. This will only be a temporary usage though, because after once I have enough to buy cs2 prime I will probably start using that instead.

Would starting on the games I already have work for me? Because don't games have limits on the items you can buy?

Here's the problem about "Banana" and all the other games like it. They are just speculative bubbles and one day they are going to pop and lose all value. And who knows, Valve can also always change something about the way adding community market works or create certain restrictions which would affect the prices. I don't think there's a game that is going to fit your criteria of being free and also providing market items that you can easily flip.

Typically items dropped for free in-game are worth pennies. If you want to make any money then you have to be prepared to spend money on things like cases and these further cost money to open. Cheap items never spike in value either so if you buy any, you'll just lose money upon listing because Valve takes a cut.
