Why arnt both of my gpus working?

I recently got a new pc with duel r9 fury x gpus and i saw in radeon settings that only one is working in game. someone plz help

you need to have an SLI or CROSSFIRE configuration. Otherwise this will simply not work

This and also the game that you are playing must support multi-GPU.

crossfire is setup (hardware) but is there anything other than that i need to do to get it working?
