USA Gift Cards Work in Turkey
Hello everyone.
Hope you are doing fine.
In case you are confused (like I was) about the new Steam regional currency change, I want to inform you that I've redeemed a USD gift card in my account which previously was set on Turkish Lira.
I've asked this question before but didn't get reliable answers about whether these cards can be redeemed in MENA region.
But now I can confirm USA gift cards do work in previously Turkish region accounts.
PS: I don't know about Global gift cards though. Would be nice if anyone could confirm them.

There is no such thing as a global gift card, gift cards became currency locked since tech support scammers started abusing them to exfiltrate and launder money from the victims they scammed. If the gift card is denominated in USD then yes, you can use it in a country that Steam lists as USD, including the LATAM and MENA region as well as Turkey and Argentina.

Note:
We have made some changes to how Steam Wallet Codes are redeemed on Steam, as part of our ongoing effort to reduce scams like the ones explained HERE[consumer.ftc.gov]. These changes should not impact regular customers who enjoy using Steam wallet codes they purchase at retail in their local currency.

Each Steam User Account is associated with a specific currency, which you can see in the top right corner of your Steam Client. Going forward, you may encounter an error if you try to activate a Steam Wallet Code issued in a different currency than the one of your Steam User Account.

If you have questions about your ability to redeem Steam Wallet Codes, please contact Steam Support. If you are concerned about the legitimacy of a Steam code you have purchased, you should ask your retailer.

Please visit our Where to buy Steam Wallet Codes article to find Valve-authorized retailers for genuine Steam Wallet Codes.

Old unredeemed Türkiye Lira and Argentine Peso cards are still redeemable in their respective countries and will be converted to USD according to https://help.steampowered.com/en/faqs/view/2720-4EC7-B95A-1D2A

How will retail Wallet Codes be affected by this change? For example, will it be possible to redeem USD wallet codes?

MENA - USD and LATAM - USD countries/regions will be able to redeem USD wallet codes after November 20th. In addition, Turkish lira and Argentine Pesos Steam wallet codes will automatically convert to USD based on the daily exchange rate when redeemed on Steam after November 20th.
