Any way can let people will not find me in search?

I think I didn't find that optione in setting.
Don't want some people add friend by search my name to find me.
Any way can do this?

I know my name is commonplace. But some people like my friend is chinese name or something, people in same countury will easy to thing there name.
So I want find way to do that not just for my self, and for some friends,

If steam have this option, maybe will help more streamer or famous people to protect there friend invite list, no need to clean them.

Im afraid there isnt any atm,

However, you can tell them what you did. Ask them to use a name (even in their language) that lots of ppl also use. Not a perfect barrier to privacy but it's better than nothing.

There is no feature to turn off the search for users. There is also no feature to turn off invites.

The most you can do if you are a streamer is to either go offline in friends and chat or invisible and people watching you can not see your profile name displayed in the client. It will just say Profile at the top instead. Similarly, it removes your profile name from between your notification icon and wallet balance. This does not prevent people from seeing your in game name which might also be your profile name, depending on the game.

I highly doubt it will be a thing.

People have been asking for over a decade and the most we've got was the last bit I mentioned above and that was added last year.
