Consolidating Steam accounts and the games on them.
Hello, I have my own steam account (this one obviously) and I created 2 more. One for my dad and another for my uncle so they can play with me many many years ago. My uncle's account is planning on being deleted as he's no longer alive. His doesn't have any games on it nor anything in his digital wallet that I can remember. My dad's on the other hand is too sick to play anymore. He does have a few games I bought (a physical copy) for him when he was healthier.

I know I cannot gift a game anymore that I've already owned. However, I still want to move the game to my account and inevitably delete his account. Is that even possible? Is there a place I can submit a ticket explaining the situation and have them do it for me?

I physically live with him so I can get all the info needed. He hasn't played in years and doesn't even remember it. Any and all help is immensely welcomed and appreciated.

No, games can not be transferred and accounts can not be merged.

That's kind of lame for games to sit there useless if the owner of the account has passed. You'd think they would allow you to at least submit a ticket. Sigh. Oh well. Thank you for your time.

If he didn't request the deletion, it will continue to exist as long as Steam does. Accounts don't expire. In order to delete an account, significant proof needs to be provided to Support to confirm the original account owner is actually requesting the deletion. It doesn't just happen on its own.

No different than accounts where the original owner lost access and can't provide enough proof to Support to regain control of it. *wink*

Sounds like you have all that's needed. *wink*
You can family share the games, so they are available on one account together.
