"buy remaining cards on market" causes error screen and doesn't load

Whenever I view an incomplete badge and select "buy remaining cards on Market" it loads for a while then shows an ERROR page.

"Sorry. An error was encountered while processing your request.
There was a problem communicating with the Steam servers. Please try again."

I need to go back and click the button repeatedly until EVENTUALLY after the 10th time I finally get access to the market and buy the missing cards for the specific badges.
I can buy cards without issue.. It's when I click that prompt to buy that the trouble starts..

I've gone as far as re-installing Steam.. hasn't fixed it at all..

Someone please help.

Sale time.

There's been issues of alte apparently anyway but sale time will make it worse.

All you can do is bear this in mind and try to do any such actions as late as you can when the least people are on in your area. Try last thing before you go to bed or first thing when you get up.

The info you're getting online about getting a steam badge for posting here does not work. It hasn't for many years.

Unfortunately the best course of action seems to be to manually go through each card and buy them as such. A pity really, a feature designed to speed up badge creation just so happens to be the slowest way to buy cards for levelling your badges
