Showcases Invalid

When I go to the showcase section on edit profile, it says the majority of them (screens/artwork), via the points store or otherwise are "invalid for your account".

This is the same story for other people, too, apparently.

It's been a week now. For the record, it doesn't work when you try and do it via mobile phone, either.

Anybody found a fix? Steam clearly don't care enough to fix it - there isn't even an option to seek support for such a thing.

Have you tried uploading an public artwork first, so you actually have something to be displayed?

Yup! Until you actually have uploaded an Artwork, you can't use the Artwork showcase.

You must have publicly viewable content for those specific showcases before they become valid for use. There's no point in using a showcase if you don't have that showcase's type of content to showcase. So, yes, Steam cares to not waste resources on something it can't perform.

I don't understand? Everyhing IS public and visible and yet the drop down window for the showcases are listed as follows:

Steam Replay
Completionist Showcase
Featured Artwork Showcase (points shop purchase) - invalid for your account
Featured Artwork Showcase - invalid for your account
Awards Showcase
Salien Stats
Achievement Showcase
My Guides - invalid for your account
Favorite Guide
Video Showcase - invalid for your account
Artwork Showcase (points shop purchase) invalid for your account
Artwork Showcase - invalid for your account
Workshop Showcase
Review Showcase
Favorite Group
Custom Info Box

It's the same for friends' profiles, too. I've googled and found a reddit thread back from Jan-Feb saying it's a steam API issue and 'it's down'.
But it can't be down for 3 months without a large population noticing and complaining, surely...

You have no public artwork visible. Just answer the question:- do you have any artwork uploaded on your profile? If the answer is no then you cannot have an artwork showcase because you have nothing to put in it.

If you have never uploaded Artwork, created a Guide or added a Video to your account, you can not use those showcases.

As for the last 2 screenshot showcases you crossed out, that is because you are already using those.
