Warframe not installing, then doing a weird ghost download done thing

title explains. when i attempt to download warframe on a drive which has WAAY over the capacity of what warframe requires, it just creates a file, leaves it blank and says install complete while giving a error message (Install stopped). Then when prompting to run warframe (it says run) then it just... poofs? i uninstall. close steam, reopen steam as admin, do the download on the same drive but it creates a empty folder called Warframe and then says install complete. How do I fix this?

I tried my pc's normal drive. has enough space, again. refuses and creates a folder called Warframe that is blank.

Edit: If i copied files from, lets say, a friend (who also doesnt have dlc's, etc f2p like me), would that work?

essentially, if anyone is here to help the creatively bankrupt mind of mine, maybe i log in as admin, then run steam as admin, then begin download?
Edit: Just retried the download again. It now says Update Stopped? there is no updates underway however.

You could try posting in Warframe's game hub.
Posting in a general forum will hardly ever get you an answer for a problem with a specific game.

Forgot this existed but thanks to the great steam community I had to go to my friend and clone his warframe files onto mine. Wow such a helpful community!
