too many hours on steam

i downloaded a game less than a week ago but somehow have almost 200 hours how is this possible there aren't even 200 hours in a week

from 29 nov till today its 11 days *24= 264 hrs

You can open more than one game at a time. They stack. Look at my playtime. I have like 700+ hours for the last two weeks cause I use add-on programs for games I play like Soundpad, Rustissimo and Rustangelo which play music, sounds and make paintings in games I play.

Could be possible but i don't have any duplicate tabs open of the game

By the way, I just wanted to add...the "play time" is for all games total on your profile, not just the one game. It doesnt specify that on your profile, but that is the case.

Could that be why? You played other games and that adds up to almost 200?

Its misleading because the playtime = ### is just above the last game you opened, but it still includes any other games opened/played in the last 2 weeks.

If it was a game that you played when there was a free weekend those hours count too.
