Steam is set as a startup application on Windows, but always starts minimized to tray. [SOLVED]
I actually don't want this behavior - does anyone know how I could have it start with the window visible, instead? I have to go to the system tray and click the icon to un-minimize it every time.

Don't let steam create the autostart, do it yourself. That way you can set the arguments it launches with on your own, and omit the -silent option steam applies when managing this yourself.

With steams own option disabled, just create a shortcut for the exe and put it into Autostart in the Start Menu.

You can also pin it to the task bar. After startup it'll open instantaneously when you click the pinned program.

Thanks The_Driver, I'll have to try that. Mivo, I've already got it pinned, but fairly often it says it's already running when I click on it - too early, I guess.

That worked The_Driver, thanks again.
