What's the difference between Installed and Downloaded in new downloads UI?

Guys im a little confused with the new downloads UI, What's the difference between Installed and Downloaded and there is a 5GB and 14GB which one is the actual game size? https://imgur.com/a/mQt7PPr

The files that you download are compressed to save on bandwidth. During installation, they will be decompressed to their actual install size.

In the image you posted two processes are happening.

Downloaded at this point in time (the image) 561mb of a 5.8gb UPDATE to the game.

Patched 2.1gb of the game install 14gb - from the 5.8gb update which is still downloading.

Note: The game install (14gb) may increase in size after completion of both processes.

or to put it another way - the game install size is 14gb, 5.8gb is an update to the game, the 5.8gb update will be integrated in the game install (14gb) and the game size may increase after the update has been patched into the game.

The patching might not add much when ever it has to patch a big file that sits on 4gb it will count that entire size. If it touch more bigger files it will add them too. So it might look it adds a lot more GB but it doesn't add that much really.

I still don't know which one is the actual game size, also when i go to the library it shows the dowloanded 5gb not the 14gb why?

Thank you so much, basically the downloaded is updates for the game, not the actual size of the game, But as you said it may increase the size of it after finishing installation, Thanks
