Steam became really slow that i can't download a thing

hello so i'm having a problem with steam since 3 days, my download speed used to be arround 900kb/s now it starts with 125-150kb/s then goes down to 24kb/s to even 900bytes
this is my current speedtest resulat https://www.speedtest.net/result/8507780164 and the current download speed in steam now is 2kb/s
i tried every solution i found on the internet
- Changed region
- Cleared cache
- disabled firewall
- reinstalled steam
- close every thing running in background
but i still have the same result, please help

I just upgraded my internet from 6mbs to 18mbs and much to my extreme dismay, my steam downloads have managed to become many, many times slower than they were. I averaged 700kbps on my 6mbs connections and now i'm getting around 25-50 kbps on the 18. I too have tried all you have described to no avail.

My downloads have stopped working altogether recently. Can't get help. So I am rebuilding my library of games from other sources and dropping Steam. Steam never seems to care about customers having issues.

Have you recently got a different internet service or do you have multiple apps or games updating and or playing at once?

It could also be the computer if the internet adapter or things like that is sorta busted or damaged or even covered in dust. Most likely not but just throwing out ideas.

They do care, although like other software devs, they can’t do everything or make their software perfect. They are trying and will continue to, although they can’t do everything (I know this through experience) they do try. Also have you run out of space on your Computer?

hey, Already told that there is nothing running but steam, also i haven't changed my internet service, my downloading from Chrome or Mozila is 900kb/s it's just Steam

Still cannot download. Trying to update a game gets me an immediate pop-up saying servers are unreachable. This seems to be a common problem with many people when the problem is researched on the internet but no one has an answer. I can't even find a single response from steam about the problem. And every time I log in to see if I can download, I lose access to more games that say they need updates. Nothing has changed on my computer in a long time. Another of my favorite games that I cannot play on steam now is on sale for half price on another service. I don't see an option but to begin migrating to other services. It seems like quite a ridiculous thing too that steam keeps sending me emails about sales based on my huge wishlist but I cannot download those games if I did purchase them. Lost sales aren't that big a thing I guess when a company gets too big.

actually (not before ) i've got downloading problems, all downloads are very slow (maximum 5 mb /sec !!! a real shame ! ) and never get to 50 Mb/sec as usually (or more) i don't know absolutely why cause i changed nothing, i have same problem on my desktop AND laptop, so what's wrong with you steam ????

OK, so there's a thing for everyone... It doesn't always matter that you have a strong connection, it matters on how well Steam's servers performs, too. If Steam's connection is 1 Mbps even if you have a 1 Gbps connection the download will be, well, 1 Mbps or less. Plus, it seems like a popular issue, there are many other threads like this.
