Where do I see the installed game version and date?

Hi,

in a game's properties, we can see the "Build ID". Is there any other place where I can see the installed game version like version 1.2.345? I mean within the library without starting the game.

Moreover, where do I see the date of the installed version? Again, within the Steam library and without navigating to the installation folder and looking at the file dates in the file explorer.

In addition, if there's a queued update in the download list, where do I see the date and version of the update to be installed?

I ask because there's currently a new update for Prison Architect queued. I thought it's already been installed. So I don't know which version the update is. I could click on "display update news", but they are either not there yet, or it's not a new update. As you can see, it would help to be able to see the version and date of an update.

Steam doesnt track that as it has its own internal build ID system for deploying patches, rollbacks etc for different beta tracks
