My account was incorrectly reported, now what?

Hi all,

I got a message from someone on Discord saying they reported my account by mistake.
Apparently an admin is going to close my account now?

How do I set this straight? I have screenshots of the person and they mentioned contacting a Steam admin on Discord, or so they claimed.
It all seems very phishy to me.

What is the next step? How do I keep my account active?

Its a scam there are no Steam Admins on Discord someone should be along soon with the list of actions to ensure the scammers don't already have any access to your account.

Discord is not associated with Steam and Steam is not associated with Discord.

Completely disregard that user on Discord. Be sure to add 2FA to your Discord account as well as your Steam account.

No, they won't. Think about that for a minute. If anyone could get anyone banned with no evidence with just a single bogus report, how would that even be functional?

Thanks for the feedback folks! I thought it was odd but I wanted to verify either way.
I do have 2FA added to both Discord and Steam.
I also reported said used to the particular Discord admins and blocked the guy.

I know everybody has already stated it is a "scam" which it is, but..
Steam employees or anyone else associated with the will never intentionally ban your account because of an accidental report.
