There was an error with a recent Steam purchase, but i still got billed???
i wanted to buy some games but instead of getting a confirmation email i get a email saying the purchase failed but i still got billed


(i am using IDEAL)

Its telling me i need to buy it again?
does my money get refunded if the purchase fails? because i don't want to pay twice.

Failed purchases means the money was never sent to Steam and will be released back to you in a few days or so.

Same here, first purchase canceled, but still billed. Second try the same at the moment, open payment, but the money is gone.
First was sofortüberweisung, second try giropay. So seems a general problem at stream right at the moment.
It seems my purchase has been removed from my account. Do you guys have that as well? If you look at Purchase History? Can you confirm?

Yeah also with IDeal here. The purchase order is also gone from my Purchase History.

This is getting really ridiculous. I'd rather have them remove iDeal support all together than having this.
